1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how AI Voice Generator ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects your information when you use our text-to-speech applications, including our language-specific editions. By using the App you agree to this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Text you submit — the text you type or paste in order to generate speech, and the audio files created from it.
Account information — if you create an account or sign in with Google: your email address. Creating an account is optional; the App works without one.
Device identifiers — anonymous identifiers of your device (such as an app-scoped device ID, install ID and device model). We use these to enforce fair daily usage limits and to prevent abuse of the free tier.
IP address & approximate location — your IP address and the coarse (country/city level) location derived from it, used for security, abuse prevention and service statistics. We never collect precise GPS location.
Usage data — how many voices you generate per day, which features you use, and app version, used to operate quotas and improve the App.
Purchase information — if you buy a subscription, Google Play processes the payment; we receive a purchase token to activate your plan. We never see your card or payment details.
Push notification token — an anonymous Firebase Cloud Messaging token, so the App can receive notifications.

3. How We Use Your Information

To convert your text into speech and deliver the generated audio to you.
To enforce daily generation limits and protect the service from abuse.
To activate and manage subscriptions purchased through Google Play.
To show advertising in the free version of the App.
To send service notifications (for example feature announcements or offers).
To fix problems and improve the App.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Text & Audio Processing

To generate speech, the text you submit is processed by third-party text-to-speech providers acting as our processors, which may include Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services, OpenAI and Google. Text is sent to these providers solely to create your audio.

Generated audio files are stored on our servers temporarily so you can replay and download them, and may be automatically deleted after a retention period. You can delete items from your library at any time inside the App.

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

Google AdMob — advertising
Google Play Billing — subscription payments
Firebase Cloud Messaging — push notifications
Google Sign-In — optional account sign-in
Microsoft Azure, OpenAI and Google — speech synthesis

6. Advertising

The free version of the App shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use device identifiers to show ads that are more relevant to you. You can limit ad personalisation in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking). Subscribers on an ad-free plan are not shown ads.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Generated audio may be removed automatically from our servers after a retention period.
You can delete individual generations from your library inside the App.
You can request deletion of your account and its associated data at any time by emailing us at the address below. We will action verified requests within 30 days.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures — encrypted connections (HTTPS), access-controlled servers and expiring media links — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information appropriately.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
